Tony Andrews built the 'Festival System' for the 1973 Glastonbury Fayre from separate bass, mid and high cabinets, using an early version of his Turbo phase device, a cone-shaped acoustic lens in front of the midrange driver. Demand to hire it led to PA manufacturing and, in 1978, to Turbosound.
